Open Dairies 2026 at Latteria Mogliese: the program for 23 and 24 May

On 23 and 24 May 2026 we will open the doors of our dairy to you for a journey through milk, tradition and flavor. Are you ready to discover how Parmigiano Reggiano is made and what is hidden behind a form of PDO?

Latteria Mogliese enthusiastically joins Caseifici Aperti 2026, the national initiative dedicated to lovers of good food. It will be a special weekend, designed to let you experience first-hand the magic that is renewed every morning within our walls, where the gesture of our cheesemakers transforms fresh milk into worldwide excellence.

Morning Schedule and Schedule

Guided tours of the cheese factory will take you to the heart of the production. Choose your shift and book your seat:
  • Visiting rounds: 9:00 a.m. | 10:00 a.m. | 11:00 a.m.
  • See the production: take a close look at the copper boilers and the phases of craftsmanship.
  • The Charm of the Warehouse: admire the thousands of shapes that rest during the maturation of Parmigiano Reggiano.
  • The Awakening of the Senses: enjoy a guided tasting to learn how to distinguish the aromas and textures of the different ages combined with typical local products.
12:00 p.m. — Opening of the Hand Shape: A unique moment to witness the traditional cut and smell the freshly opened cheese.

Not only Cheese: Solidarity and Fun

We want it to be a party for everyone, young and old! A real event for families in and around Mantua.
  • Solidarity Aperitif: In collaboration with the Amiki Association, a refreshment point will be active whose proceeds will be donated to charity.
  • Children's Area: Games and recreational and sports activities to keep the little ones entertained in total safety.
  • 12:30 p.m. — Lunch: Possibility to have lunch at partner restaurants in the area.
  • Visit to the Farms (15:00): In the afternoon you can visit our stables to see where the milk supply chain begins at km 0.

Special Event: Sunday, May 24 at 18:00

End the weekend in style with a typical aperitif! We are waiting for you for an evening of celebration with:
  • Live music
  • Pincini and local cold cuts
  • Parmigiano Reggiano tastings
